The Legal department is directed by\u00a0Arnoldo Solis Lawyer, and assisted by\u00a0Wendy Guevara, Lessy Villatoro and Claudia Madrid.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n

The Legal Department of the AHM was created with\u00a0the vision of giving legal protection to its members through a responsible legal guidance in the way companies deals with business, civil, tax, labor, administrative issues or with any other type of conflicts a company may face in its\u00a0relationship with third parties.<\/p>\n

We believe that a company that operates under a\u00a0compliance-oriented legal framework\u00a0has guaranteed its institutional peace; under this premise, the legal department of the Honduran Manufactures Association (AHM)<\/strong> provides legal advice to its affiliates free of charge,\u00a0with\u00a0knowledge, experience and honesty. Consultations are received in writing and answered in the same way.<\/p>\n

We also\u00a0provide advice to potential investors wishing to invest in Honduras for free. More\u00a0specialised legal advise is available to our\u00a0affiliates, at reasonable\u00a0fees. These are some of the services offered:<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/strong> \u00a0Notary services: Incorporation of trading companies, buying and selling, etc.
\n\u2022<\/strong> \u00a0Proceedings before state agencies, such as:<\/p>\n

  2. Requests for authorization to operate under\u00a0the Free Zone regime<\/li>\n
  3. Applications for Environmental Licenses<\/li>\n
  4. Request for renewals of Environmental Licenses<\/li>\n
  5. Application for exemption from taxes on petroleum fuels<\/li>\n
  6. Applications for Registration Exemptions to the DEI<\/li>\n
  7. Requests for special residence permits.<\/li>\n
  8. Applications for work permits<\/li>\n
  9. Authorization of Internal Working Regulations<\/li>\n
  10. All types of application submitted to any\u00a0government institution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On numerous occasions, we have expressed our conviction that quality is an essential value of this Organisation. It is also important to us the way in which a particular service is provided to our clients.\u00a0It is a priority \u00a0to constantly inform\u00a0our members of any\u00a0update to any of the laws relating to the manufacturing sector through the means of \u00a0email newsletters and other digital communications.<\/p>\n

    We have added to our functions periodic visits to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and Social as well as to\u00a0Labor Courts in order to know which of our affiliated companies may be\u00a0facing labor claims and the reasons why they may have been presented\u00a0by its workers. It is our desire that\u00a0advice we give to our affiliates may\u00a0help in\u00a0resolving\u00a0conflicts in a peaceful and conciliatory manner.<\/p>\n
