AHM Membership
The Honduran Manufacturers Association has over 300 member companies of different sectors and categories, mostly from the textile industry. These companies receive, through the assistance of professionals and experts that work for this prestigious institution, a series of services and benefits that contribute to the improvement of their processes and operations in order to achieve high productivity and competitiveness at a national and international level.
The following, are the different categories described in the Affiliation Guideline:
- Industrial Parks: Industrial complex where manufacturing, commercial or service companies are housed, and where they destine their production, merchandise or services for exporting or to the local market, operating under the protection of a special export regime.
- Textiles Mills: Those that produce thread, yarn or fabrics.
- Manufacturing Companies: Those that transform raw materials in goods or merchandise destined to the commerce in general.
- Commercial Companies: Those that import goods or merchandise to sell them locally or to re-export them.
- Electronic Service Companies: Those that offer call center services, data processing, information technology outsourcing (ITO), business process outsourcing (BPO), back offices or any other service that can be offered by wired or wireless means.
- Other Services: Those that offer services to companies located abroad, locally or to companies that operate under any export regime.
- Sponsors: Individual/natural person or legal entity that does not operate under any special export regime.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
For industrial parks, textile mills, manufacturing companies, commercial companies, electronic service companies and services; it is required to complete and present the following:
- Photocopy of the deed of incorporation or deed of individual merchant.
- Photocopy of the RTN (National Tax Registration Number; similar to IRS)
- Photocopy of the resolution issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce where it is authorized to operate and manage the Free Zone Regime as an operator or a user operator.
- In the case of users of the Free Zone regime, a photocopy of the certificate issued by the Dirección General de Sectores Productivos that verifies the user’s registry in the aforementioned regime.
- Companies that do not operate under the Free Zone regime will submit the resolution, authorizing them to operate in any other special export regime.
- Completed membership application form, provided by the Communications Department of the AHM.
For sponsors, it is required to complete and present the following:
- Photocopy of the deed of incorporation or deed of individual merchant.
- Photocopy of the RTN (National Tax Registration Number; similar to IRS)
- Completed membership application form, provided by the Communications Department of the AHM.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
The membership fee is determined by the category assigned to the company and in accordance with the Affiliation Guideline. This will be reviewed by the Customer Service Coordinator, who will carry out the whole process.
Membership Fee can range from:
US$ 500 to US$ 1000.00 (lifetime payment)
With monthly Fees of:
US$110 or US$ 220.00
